Last Mobility

Before finishing our project,  the last mobility with the students is ready. Between May 12 and 18, students from Spain, Poland, Portugal and Italy will meet at the polish school, to present the documents they have been working on and to show them to the students of the other schools.

One of the activities that will be presented is a  traditional dance from each country. It has been recorded, step by step and the dance complete. Students have to dance in live the dance in Poland.

Later, in the early days of July, we will meet in Spain the coordinators of each country to finish the documents for this project.

We hope that everyone has enjoyed doing this work in coordination between the four schools.

Students Mobility in Petrosino - Sicily (Italy)

Students from Poland, Portugal and Spain have been visiting the ISTITUTO COMPRENSIVO "GESUALDO NOSENGO" in Petrosino - Sicily (Italy).
The mobility was on November 2018. It started on Monday the 19th and finished on Friday the 23rd.
Students exposed all the material and activities that they worked, during the last months, in their countries, and students from Italy showed their work too.

The students and teachers had different activities all the week long, in order to know the portuguese education system, the city and the conuntry, the methodology. They had different meetings to talk about adventadges and probems they have had during the last term. And the end of the week teh organized tehe next activities to prepare for the next trasnational meeting and mobility in IZABELIN (Poland) on May 2019.

Teachrs Meeting in Petrosino

New school year has started, 2018-2019.
Teachers form all the countries have been working in Petrosino (Italy) 24th, 25th and 26th of September 2018. In this meeting they have organized the activities we have to prepare for the next mobilities: in Petrosino on Nobember 2018 and in Izabelin (Poland) on May 2019. It was a hard work days and Spanish team participated in an E-TWINNING meeting in Palermo before to take off to Spain

Students mobility in Braga (Portugal)

Students from Poland, Italy and Spain have been visiting the Externato Paulo VI School in Braga (Portugal).
Tye mobility was on May  2018. It started on Monday the 21st and finished on Friday the 25th.
There they exposed all the material and activities that they worked, during three months, in their schools, and students from Portugal too.

The students and teachers had different activities all the week long, in order to know the portuguese education system, the city and the conuntry, the methodology. They had different meetings to talk about adventadges and probems they have had during the last term. And the end of the week teh organized tehe next activities to prepare for the next trasnational meeting and mobility in Sicily (Italy) on September and November 2018.

E-TWINNING PAGE

We have created a platform to work in the E-Twinning website. It allows us to have Chats, Forums, Documents and Video-chats in a meeting-room.
During the next days we will start with the use of it between teachers and as soon as possible students will have their first video-chat in our live room.

Merry Christmas from Spain

STUDENTS MOBILITY IN SPAIN

Next week 21 Students and 8 teachers are going to visit Los Olivos School in Spain. They are going to do different activities related with the project MENS SANA IN CORPORE SANO. Students and teachers will be working with students from 3 years old to Primary 6th level (aged 11 y.o.).

The activities are about healthy habits, me and my environment and my school and my educative system.

This morning one article was published in Spain about this meeting.

LOGO CONTEST WINNER

In October,  the days  9 and 10 teachers of all the school involved in the program, have been working in Spain. One of the items they have been talking about was to select the Logo winner of our project.

This is the Logo for the project, elaborated by one student from Poland, Primary 2nd grade. CONGRATULATIONS ANTONI ROGULSKI

 

OUR LOGO

As you know, one of our first activities is design our logo, the logo of our Project: “Mens Sana y Corpore Sano”. This latin expresión express the identity of our Project: integral education, me and my identity (my feelings, culture, History, heritage...); The identity, knowlegde and repect to the others; And me and my environment (my school, my town, my environment...). Everything connected thanks to our common language, English, and ICT. Maybe, teachers and pupils can know our project better with the summary in English (page 48-49 of the application form) or explaining the meaning of “healthy body and mind”.

This idea would be able to be a summary of our project. So, in this activity each boy or girl have to draw and paint a drawing where they have to represent this idea as a synthesis. The logo or drawing must have the next characteristics:

- Have to appear the full name of our project: MENS SANA IN CORPORE SANO.

- Have to appear allusions about our four countries, for example: our flags, colours, monuments or other traditional things.

- The technique of drawing is free: markers, colored pencils, crayon...

- The drawing must be in a A4 paper, as big as possible because the logo have to be very clear when we reduce the image in a small logo.

- We think it is a activity from Primary 3 to Primary 6-7, maybe before, it is quite difficult. Families can help our pupils with ideas or proposal.

- Each school have to choose four drawings and finally, we will vote the winner of each school and the winner of our project. This drawing will be our logo.

- Date of delivery: Friday 6th of October. The idea is to choose the winner during the coordination meeting in Spain.
